The work of the K-Architectures agency, the Conference centre is designed to be the meeting place of city and Campus.


 

The Conference centre opens onto the place du Front Populaire, just a few steps from the metro station. It will host educational and cultural events such as talks, seminars, conferences, and theatrical performances of national and international merit. With auditoriums and seminar rooms of varying size, it is designed to be a space where knowledge is shared.

The Architect’s vision

“The singular materiality of the Conference centre distinguishes it from the office buildings and apartments that surround it. It is enigmatic, immensely transparent and luminously bright. It is as if it has put on an evening gown decorated with quivering fringes that soften its exterior and protect it from prying eyes.” K-Architectures
