The eXtraordinary Theatre Klub (XTK) is run by EHESS students; it is free and open to all students from any institution.

Using improvisation, vocal techniques, movement, danse and meditation, XTK works on a play, then stages it at the end of the university year. Previously, the Klub has tackled A Midsummer Night’s Dream by W. Shakespeare, Lorenzaccio by A. de Musset, Salinger by B.M. Koltès, The importance of being earnest by O. Wilde and The Reunification of the Two Koreas by J. Pommerat (2020-21 season!).

The Klub rehearses once a week for two and a half hours at the Cultural and associative centre on Campus Condorcet. Everyone is welcome to join, whether you have already been on stage or just want to try out acting. The only requirement is to be truly committed to creating a group project, all year long!

The first sessions will take place in October, when the EHESS term starts, so that you can discover the Klub before you sign up.

Our club is friendly, collaborative and a real morale booster. Come and join us, and play your part in our collective artistic creations!
