The Clinique Juridique (legal clinic) is an educational and social initiative that offers law students the opportunity to hold drop-in consultation hours for the public. The students obtain the background information they need during the first meeting with a client. Under the supervision of their lawyer-professors, they prepare an analysis of the legal situation. The client then chooses to receive the report by email or during a face-to-face meeting. The Clinique Juridique has a waiting period of at least two weeks. The Clinique does the best it can with the resources it has to provide this vital social service for the public good.
