Activities
Routes de l’Orient is an inter-institutional student group focused on Eastern Mediterranean archaeology. Our members are students at all levels from Paris 1, the Sorbonne, EPHE, the Natural History Museum, the École du Louvre, Lille, and Clermont-Ferrand.
Our activities include public outreach, primarily to schools but also, in partnership with other groups, in prisons and with refugee populations.
Our communications team sends out information about Eastern Mediterranean studies events and workshops and organizes cultural events.
We also run a scholarly journal which publishes the proceedings of the international conferences we organize.
