Activities

ICAR was created by two young Plaine St-Denis residents in 2002, and takes it name from Icarus in Greek mythology.

It aims to combat high school dropout rates by helping adolescents develop their autonomy and creativity and broaden their cultural horizons. In addition to one-on-one homework help, ICAR offers cultural, artistic, and sporting activities for young people. It also aims to improve both the opportunities to succeed and the reputation of the residents of La Plaine Saint-Denis.
